Don't Risk Diarrhoea When Travelling

Nothing spoils a holiday more than getting sick! Yet this is one of the hardest things to control when on an overseas holiday.

One of the most common ways a holiday can be ruined is by contracting a bout of gastroenteritis or food poisoning.

Some of the world's most beautiful and desirable holiday destinations are a culinary battle ground of foods our western digestive systems aren't used to.

Food poisoning and gastroenteritis are usually a consequence of eating something that doesn’t agree with us or is contaminated by bacteria we can’t fight off.

Ethical Nutrients Travel Bug has been specifically formulated to reduce the risk of diarrhoea whilst travelling. Travel bug contains Saccharomyces cerevisiae (boulardii), a probiotic yeast that if taken for five days prior to your holiday and throughout the entire trip, may help reduce the risk of diarrhoea whilst traveling.

This formulation can be kept out of the fridge for up to one month and comes in a blister pack, making it extremely convenient for travelling.

If you do contract diarrhoea whilst travelling, Ethical Nutrients Travel Bug may also be used to relieve or treat diarrhoea in both adults and children*.

Diet Tips to Avoid Travel Sickness

Be careful what you eat, choose the cleanest places possible and try to find out what you are eating before you eat it. It may be a good idea to avoid seafood.

  • Drink only bottled water in known high risk areas.
  • Eat fruits that you can peel.
  • Wash your hands thoroughly before eating.
  • Ask for no ice in your drinks.

*Children and infants who are unable to swallow a capsule should dissolve the contents of 1 capsule in water, breast milk or formula. If diarrhoea persists for more than 6 hours in infants under 6 months – 12 hours in children under three years – 24 hours in children ages three to six years or 48 hours is adults and children over six years – seek medical advice.

So don't let diarrhoea turn your dream holiday into a nightmare!
