A staggering 51% of menopausal women are not currently treating or managing their symptoms1. Are you one of those suffering in silence? Or are you looking for a plant-based alternative to help manage your symptoms? A NEW clinically-trialled ingredient derived from rhubarb could be the answer to your menopause prayers.

What is Menopause?

Menopause is a transitional phase in a woman’s life, occurring over three stages, typically spanning a 5-10 year period. Generally, menopause starts between 45-50 with perimenopause, where hormone levels start to drop. While the body is transitioning into menopause (and nearing final menstruation), the ovaries begin to wind down and big hormonal shifts occur, which can feel erratic and chaotic. During this time, women may experience the first onset of common menopause symptoms2.

  • Hot flushes
  • Night sweats
  • Erratic emotions & irritability
  • Low libido
  • Problems sleeping
  • Vaginal dryness
  • Aches and pains (muscles & joints)
  • Fatigue

While 1 in 5 women will breeze through menopause without a single symptom3, most women will experience at least a few symptoms, and these vary greatly from one woman to the next. You can learn more about what to expect from menopause here.

What is Siberian rhubarb & how might it help with menopause?

Siberian rhubarb is a perennial plant belonging to the rhubarb family, native to the regions of Siberia and northern China, hence the name. It is known for its medicinal properties and is different from the common garden rhubarb (Rheum rhabarbarum) that is commonly used in cooking and baking.

Rheum rhaponticum (ERr 731™) is a specific species of Siberian rhubarb that has been clinically-trialled to relieve common menopause symptoms, including significant reductions in hot flushes from just 4 weeks, in women taking 4mg per day4.

ERr 731™ is exclusively found in Estrovera, a plant-derived option supporting women during perimenopause and relieving common menopause symptoms. Estrovera reduces hot flushes, relieves vaginal dryness, supports sexual function (healthy libido), decreases irritability and restless sleep, relieves muscle and mild joint pain and reduces fatigue associated with menopause. Estrovera is a great option for women looking to navigate menopause with plant-derived relief.
